Why it works
Day one is about 5% target language — a word here, a phrase there, always inside a sentence you already understand. The dial rises as you do. And the thread never resets: close the app mid-sentence and it’s still there next week, the way a chat with a friend is.

Each day Wade picks one of your words — usually one you’re starting to forget, a fresh one when nothing is — and sends it to your phone’s lock screen at the hour you choose, and to a home-screen widget on iPhone. It waits on the Talk screen too, on the web and in the app. Tap it and you’re already talking about it. No streak to keep. Just the word, and a conversation waiting.

Yes. Add as many as you like and switch between them whenever you want. Each keeps its own words, level and pace, and Progress gives each one its own card — never a comparison.
Both. Wading runs in your browser and as a phone app, and your conversations, words and progress are the same on each. A few things belong to one platform: the daily-word widget is iPhone-only, and keyboard shortcuts are on the web.

Your conversations are sent to our AI provider to generate Wade's replies and track your progress. We don't sell your data, we don't share it with advertisers, and we don't use it to train AI models. You can download a copy of everything from Account, and delete everything, permanently, from the app.
Yes. History → What Wade remembers lists every fact he keeps about you, and Forget removes any one of them. Deleting your account erases all of it.
